House remains at lake Böttekärr

Britt-Marie och Gunnar Carlstedt

A foundation found. It has two rooms. It is not possible to directly determine the age. Historical records indicate that it is from the 1700s.

The house may have been a earthen house with thatched roofs. A front wall of the stone is used. The interior walls have been of earth with slabs along the floor and flat stones as reinforcement. The floor has been gently sloping and well paved. Along the front side in between the wall has a fire existed.

No cultivation has taken place in the environment.

Subsequent investigation has shown that this has been a distillery.
